  1. Yikes, you're right--if you want that thing to fit on your M4 that projection can't be there. I just got the GG&G fat charging handle for my M1014 and it fits fine--it doesn't have that projection. It spins, though. If it had the triangle type tip like the stock handle that would be awesome.

Hmmm, I don't think there would be any change. Shotguns aren't know for their accuracy anyway so I doubt the side armor would make any difference.
  3. Ooo, the X-Five Tactical. That will be one sweet pistol.

The pic rail you're talking about is from Side Armor. It comes in two pieces and clamps to the barrel. You can remove the barrel from the mag tube without removing the side armor rail--it doesn't interfere in any way. It's pretty cool--I have a couple parts on the way and then I can mount my Surefire M3 on my shotty. Can't wait! :D

  4. Deasmuth, yup, that was what I was trying to get. And yes, you're right about the Docter optics too, pretty much impossible to find. :( Funny thing is, I found a couple of other sites that also had the Docter Optic for sale, but I emailed them first before ordering this time, and they too didn't have any. What is it with these people? If you run out of something, you should darn well indicate it on your web store. Anything less is just poor business practice.

Must... Stop... The drool... Wow, that is toooo cool. Too bad it's kinda spendy. Oh, and if anyone orders from Botachtactical, make sure you give them a call amd make sure they have the item in stock before you order. I just tried ordering a red dot sight from them last week and it turned out the item is discontinued and they won't be getting any more even though their website gave no indication of such. I just checked too, and they still list the item for sale.
  6. I guess Duggan just has the Midas touch. I'm just glad my M1014 already came with a Benelli extension (Got mine off Gunbroker). If I get a second M4 that will definitely be one part I'm not looking forward to getting. Btw, do the extensions from NoDak Spud match the color/finish of the rest of the mag tube?

  7. Here you go. smile.gif

Looks like it will fit. You need 2 3/4" of clear space, and from your pic it looks like you have over 3". Sweet for you!

  8. AFPJ, I'll take a close look with a measuring tape tonight when I get home and post some pics too. I hope it'll work out. smile.gif

jmikesteen, thanks for the added info about the recoil tube milling. I guess I will be sending it off for a little adjustment. smile.gif Might have to wait a bit for the coffers to re-fill a bit though--I've been going kind of overboard lately on the M1014 upgrades as it is...

  10. Just so you know, your M4 *might* need a little break in period. When I first got my M1014 (special edition of the M4) it cycled slugs and buckshot fine, but had the occasional fail-to-load when using lighter rounds. However, after a nice cleaning and more shooting, my M1014 shoots any type of load just fine. Here is the range report I made after my first range trip.

Anyway, don't ever feel bad about your buy. I sing praises of joy every time I look at my beautiful shotgun. They are very solidly built, very reliable, and very good looking. smile.gif Oh, and if by some fluke you run into trouble with your gun, Benelli customer service will take good care of you. Welcome to the forum and we hope you continue to keep in touch.
