  1. I was told This law was dropped in 2006 but I can't find the current document on it, if I do, I will post it. http://www.atf.gov/pub/fire-explo_pub/2005/p53004/18usc_chap44.pdf Page "26" Section 18 U.S.C. 921 Item "D"
  2. I think your asking on the wrong website, but the combo's vary from state to state. People in this forum say that it is illegal to put a mag extension on a base M4 (fixed pistol grip stock) in California when according to the California Department of Justice it is not. If you happen to live in California then it would be illegal to have a pistol grip with a collapsable stock. Whichever state you live in try this but change the state. Google - California Department of Justice Which brings "Office of the attorney General" ( http://ag.ca.gov/ ) Click on "Publications" - "Firearms" - "California firearms law (current year)" On Page "13" item "6" "A semiautomatic shotgun that has both of the following: (A) A folding or telescoping stock (B) A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon, thumbhole stock, or vertical handgrip. (7) A semiautomatic shotgun that has the ability to accept a detachable magazine. (8) Any shotgun with a revolving cylinder. The following definitions shall apply relative to defining assault weapons: (1) "Magazine" shall mean any ammunition feeding device. (2)"Capacity to accept more than ten rounds" shall mean capable of accomodating more than ten rounds, but shall not be construed to include a feeding device that has been permanently altered so that it cannot accomodate more than ten rounds. G/L in your search.
  3. I thought the same thing when I picked up my first M4 from the dealer, people said "The dealer took them out of the package". I was a little ticked but after shooting it I didn't care. My second M4 came directly from Benelli (US west coast) via UPS and it as well only came with one choke tube. Maybe they use to ship with more than one but as far as my experience goes, they now only ship with one.
  4. Oh, I misread the OP. Too bad it's not a complete stock, oh well.
  5. Looks great, it will be nice to see how much that runs when produced. Now you guys have a second product I'm waiting for. Since you gave an estimated time frame for this is there any place where one was given for Xcaliber? My hunting rifle needs a Mesa Makeover..
  6. When will this rifle be offered in 7MM Mag?
  7. Around the end of April last year I bought a Benelli M4 11707 from a gun store in California. It was a prized piece in my collection having more meaning to me from being a prior SGT in the USMC. I took every care I possibly could for this weapon making sure not a scratch would ever land on it. To put it into perspective it was wrapped in a towel when put into the safe. I’ve taken this weapon out to the skeet range 3 times with friends to have some fun with clays. With the other weapons we shot, my M4 hadn’t even had 100 rounds through it till it broke. After the third time out at the skeet range I got home and was getting ready to clean it and the stock fell of the weapon onto my carpeted living room floor. From what Benelli described on the repair order the problem was a broken Stock Bolt. The problem is not that less that 100 rounds passed through it before it broke the problem is this. Before shipping the weapon I spent an entire day to wrap each loose piece in bubble wrap. I separated each bubble wrap package with news print. I organized the pieces in a Tetris fashion and then made a custom double layer box so nothing would move around. The repairs took about 5 weeks and I finally had the package at my door from Benelli. I opened the box and just stared in disbelief. There are scratch marks all over the gun. The rear sight has a large chunk carved out of the right top side. The magazine tube is marked up and even worse the barrel is chipped and scraped. My near brand new weapon looks like it is owned by an inbred that uses it to beat his dog. I’m so upset about this I am at a loss for words. Another concern I have is that the serial numbers on the receiver and barrel do not match. I didn’t check this before I sent it in because I assumed they would be like my other guns and have matching serial numbers. Could you other M4 11707 owners take a look at your weapons and let me know if those two numbers match on yours? What can I do about the damages to my M4? I’m so sickened by this whole ordeal I can’t even stand looking at it. Any advice would be appreciated.
