I just bought a new Super Sport and am trying to get a good fit. The drop is perfect but I think I need more cast off. My sight picture down the rib has the middle bead just to the right of the front bead. The shims installed are D and C with the C/DX metal plate. Does anyone know what I need to do to get the beads to line up?

jbur, two weeks and two birds with the Speed Bead, its rock solid and holds its zero, no problems so far! I don't take real good care of my turkey gun, it has never seen a case, it rides between the console and the passenger seat of my pickup or rhino every day of turkey season and deer season, however I have only had the Speed Bead on for 2 weeks so time will tell if its going to hold up. I will post a notice if it does'nt hold up, likewise if it pans out I will post.

I have been using red dots for years on my turkey gun, much better then open sights. I now have a m2 and have just installed the Speed bead from Burris, this thing is awesome! It is the best of both worlds, a red dot that mounts between the stock and reciever, no drilling or tapping or saddle mount, no bulky sight on top of your reciever. The best part is that is alignment is right with your front sight bead, you can really get on target fast and its lightweight and not in the way when carrying you gun. I have been using red dots for turkey hunting for about 12 years and would not go back to open sights. Started out with the 30mm, Bushnel makes a good one, however I did not like the bulk and awkwardness of it. Last 3 years I have been using a tru-glo tru-point open red dot, only weighs two ounces and works good. Both of these require drilling and taping or a saddle mount. I'm using a M2 with a saddle mount at present, however I went to Burris's web sight and clicked on ,New for 08, they have their new Fast Fire open red dot sight mounted on the shim that goes between the stock and reciever, they have models for all the Benellis, pretty clever. Midway USA expects them in Feb. 29, I will have one on my M2 before I go to Fla.

Chop, I had the same problem with my M2 using 3" turkey loads and buckshot, I also purchased new in 06, after using a M1 for so many years with no problems I was really upset about the M2 not cycling, I called customer service and sent the gun back to Benelli, they corrected the problem with a quick turnaround time, a little over 2 weeks, so I would recommend you call customer service and return your M2.
