Its a 28" ported mossberg barrell with 3 chokes.Maybee 3 or 4 rounds through it.Just got too spoiled shootin the Benellis and never took the Mossberg.Just tryin to get rid of stuff. How does 50 bucks for everything sound.

I have a max 4 stock and forend and also a blued barrell for your mossberg. Let me know if your interested. Was planning on using the gun for a spare just like yourself, but ended up turning the 500 into a home defense gun.

My buddy just picked up a black synthetic at Cabelas for $850. They had nine in stock.

Ordered one from Kittery Trading Post for $94.95. They have free shipping until August 31. Best price I could find, but still ridiculous.

The American does not come with a shim kit or case.

Thanks for the help. Just bothers the freakin **** out of me that the fix for a $1500 gun is elctrical tape.Think I will use the official Benelli barrel sticker that came with the gun.

Had the same problem, sent the gun back to Benelli at their request. Received the gun two weeks later with a not as loose forearm.Contacted Benelli again and was sent a tighter fitting forearm without having to send the entire gun back. Seems the way the forearm connects to the receiver the loose forearm will return. The SBE II is still a great gun and the wobbly forearm didn’t stop me from buying a Vinci and 20 gauge M2.

Save some time not having to take the stock off to clean and dry the recoil spring tube after hunting in the rain.
