    Pump verses semi

:pand i hear that pumps are that tuff you can store them under water all winter , man thats some gun, really
  4. thankyou TUCKER , that is all i was looking fore in my thread just comments i wasent slaming i was just stating how i felt nothing radical , im glad to see im not alone i also am a member of Delta , but i am no longer a member of DU but that is my choice if they were to go back to doing things the way they usto do around here i would be the first to jump back on the ban wagon ,
  5. i wasent bashing them i was stating my opinion and in my area they have given up on the hunter DU that is and are more interested in closing areas ,fore protected areas with the consirvitory ,dissipointed thats all
  6. hear in my parts it seams like Ducks unlimited has sorta given up on us the duck hunter and turned toward the consivitory group i have been a suporter years ago but now i have lost faith in them and it seams like Delta waterfoul is doing what DU started doing but im still hesitant on another group that sais there going to help the hunter i guess ill have to wait and see , maby its an isolated problem just in my area, maby ill get some other opinions
  7. that is an interesting question fore sporting clays you may have close shots and far shots on the same station so having an over and under, OU could be an advantage with two chokes but i seem to be able to swing the semi quicker . im not sure what the difference in the gas and enertia what are the advantiges please explain thanks
  8. ok now this is a good topic fore descusion i have both the semi and the pump and i enjoy both i prefer the semi on the skeet field but there are a few that i call special that love to shoot the pump on the doubles skeet, i use it once in a while to hone my skills it dosent give you time to think between shots , but fore hunting i will use either one depending on the day ,it seems the pump never needs maintinance but its nice to have the comfort of just pulling the trigger i guess it depends on the person and preferance , what are your thoughts O O O and remember NO FLAMING
  9. o dont hate the player hate the game keep up the good info we all have a lot to learn , but dont singe any hairs allong the way
  10. carefull novaking or you will end up on volunteers list of most hated with me and Duggan and tucker, we made his list
  11. did you de grease the trigger group as well and lightly oil it to ,
  12. that is a nice lot of birds , i got out fore the first time this year we dont have wild birds so we have to hunt on a preserve , you buy the birds ahead and the owner puts them out that morning , in corn fields and grain fields , it would be nice to have wild birds , luckie you good hunting

  16. just got back from the benelli sight hum the m4 short barrel and pistol grip , hunting and sporting clays should be a challenge but it can be done ,
  17. im not fimilar with the m4 , i have the m2 but with any gun first things first get a pattern at 30 yards or so put a small circle on it aim fore the dime size circle and see were the gun hits high low or right or littel to the left that is a good starting point then you know weather to shoot over it or under it or left or right then experiment some with the chokes fore sporting clays either skeet or improved , hope this helps some ,good luck and enjoy
