  1. IMO PG stocks provide superior handling while using only one's strong hand (try one hand handling with a straight stock) however I like straight stocks better overall. That said, my Benellis have PG stocks and I don't have any straight stocks for them.

  2. Listing was deleted, apparently it sold.

I'm not into the SBS thing, so would $1,500 be a good price for a SBS M4 w/ c-stock and a low round count? (seller was saying he fired less than 50 rounds thru it)

  3. I'm seriously considering putting my T-1 on one of my rifles and putting a Vortex SPARC or Primary Arms red dot on my M4 instead of the T-1. I've got a Vortex SPARC coming in and I'm going to try that out first, and then try a Primary Arms red dot once they have their NV compatible version available.

Any feedback/reviews on either of the above would be appreciated.

  4. Exactly what does 'high fire rate' really mean?? And how is that different from never cleaning the self-cleaning pistons?? Never heard of any such failure, however from what I gather Stranger Danger has put over 10k rounds through his M4. If anyone has has 'high rate' experience it'd be SD.

ETA: FWIW I did googled 'SRM Arms gas system by-pass (and bypass) Benelli M4' and the only result relative to the Benelli M4 is the gunjoker listing in the OP.

  5. That was my concern with the Pro Mag c stock, i.e. the (crucial) retaining pin would be substandard material and would fail, and sure enough that's what you experienced.

I know this is an old thread, but I was recently looking into the Pro Mag C stock and ended up buying one based on what I've read in this thread and other places online. Now I couldn't find anyone that has both the Pro Mag and the Benelli collapsible stocks, so I had no idea on fitment compared to the factory version and many of the views on the Pro Mag were vague. Well, I took a chance and bought the Pro Mag, and it was a huge let down. It was very loose, the finish was a gloss black, and the overall look of the frame was cheap. I only shot with it once and after about 40 rounds or so the stock got stuck, I then removed it and looked inside, the pin was peeling from the recoil. I don't know if anyone else has experienced that same problem, but frankly I was pissed. I then decided to take another chance and order a Benelli stock frame, pin, and button assembly from Numrich gun parts, hoping the Pro Mag parts would fit on the Benelli. It turns out the parts are interchangeable, so I put the cheek rest and butt pad from the Pro Mag onto the Benelli stock frame and now it works beautifully and everything ended up costing about $320 in the end. As far as 922R compliance.... I have a Dave's Metal works mag tube, ATI follower, and then the Pro Mag pistol grip, all of which will count as being US made but seeing that the stock itself is comprised of both US and Italian parts I would guess that it won't count as being US made, however there really is no way to tell... But just to be safe I also got a set of FFT US made handguards as well.

So anyway, if you're considering a Pro Mag C stock, I would highly recommend going to Numrich gun parts and ordering a Benelli factory stock frame and button assembly.

  6. Cool gun. I just did the tour and read the "more info" on the recoil and cryo parts. I have not studied the finer details of other Benelli guns. A friend has Super Black Eagle but I have not handled it. Mechanical artists design these weapons. Obviously some of the same DNA from guys like Leonardo da Vinci himself is at work here.

Apparently the conventional approach is of little concern to them. Interesting looking shotgun.

  7. Oh, I didn't know they were still hard to find. I ordered one from here last week. Cheers

Those hammers are in and out of stock. Save all of $6 by ordering from Midway (no shipping charge at Geissle).

The manufacturer setting a high price while other vendors offer the very same item for less is standard fare, e.g. Krebs Custom AK selector is $60 at Krebs and $45 at Midway and elsewhere.
