  1. Hey all, I noticed that Tom Knapp is no longer shooting for Benelli. Now he is with CZ. Don't get me wrong, CZ makes a fine weapon, but it ain't a Benelli. So can anyone shed any light on what happened to that relationship? It can't be lack of popularity because I seen on his website that his entire 2011 schedule is FULL. Anyone know the scoop? What a shame that TOM KNAPP is no longer with Benelli. One of the greatest showmen and talents ever. Nalajr
  2. LOTS of 'em.......... PAIN in the HINEY!!! Nalajr
  3. I have a 24 inch barrel and I have been wanting to trade for a 21 inch. I haven't been too successful and I checked into getting my barrel cut back to 21 inches. I checked several really well know Benelli gunsmiths and every one of them told me that because of the thin walls the barrel couldn't be threaded for choke tubes. They talked as if it could be done it would be REALLY EXPENSIVE and I would be better off just buying the barrel. Nalajr
  4. Hey all, I'd like to see some pics of a M1S90 with a 20 inch VENT RIB barrel. I have a M1S90 with a 24inch barrel and am thinking about converting it to a HD shotgun with a 20 inch VR barrel. I'd like to see what they look like. It would be great if it also has an extension tube. Thanks Nalajr
  5. I have a MINT 24 inch VR that has seen about 25 rounds or so. M1S90 has been sitting in the case for about 15 years. Been wanting to trade for a 21 inch VR. If barrel is still available get with me and see if we can work something out. Email me though. nalapombu AT Hotmail dot com Good Luck
  6. Hey all, I would like to pick up a barrel to replace my 24 inch barrel on my 12 gauge M1 Super 90. I want a 21 inch, VR, BLACK with choke tubes. Now I understand that a barrel from the M2 will fit my M1, but there may be some problems with my forearm not fitting. If my forearm will NOT work with the M2 barrel that might be a problem. If a replacement forearm for my M1 costs $100, it would be a problem. Knowing Benelli, I am guessing that a new forearm would probably be $300! If you have the barrel I want and would be interested in trading for a 24 inch barrel, lets talk and work something out. I DON'T want the 24 inch anymore, but I don't want to sell it without having a replacement. Let me know if you have anything. BD
  7. Well I would love to be able to just swap out to a shorter barrel, but have you seen the prices on Benelli barrels? Heck I could buy a really sweet HD shotgun for just the price of a Benelli barrel. Their barrels are a fortune. I don't hunt with this shotgun anymore and it just sits in my closet. I bet I haven't put a total of 50 rounds through it in the last 7 or 8 years. So as it is, it's not getting used for anything. At least cutting it back would turn it into something I would actually practuce with and use. What could go wrong by cutting back the rib? I know it might be hard to get it to look good like it does now, but I can't think of anything actually bad that might happen. Please elaborate and let me know if I'm wrong. Thanks. Nala
  8. Hey all, I have an M1 S90 with a 24 inch barrel. I would like to have the barrel cut to 20 inches and re-threaded to accept the factory choke tubes. I also want the vent rib to be cut back to match the barrel and the front sight re-inserted. My plan is the add a mag extension and turn my Benelli into a Home Defense shotgun since I don't hunt with it anymore. Does anyone know who or what shop can do the work I am needing? Has anyone had this kind of work done to their Benelli before or know anyone that has? Thanks for the help. Nala
