I understand they were not built then. But there is no law in california saying when I rebuild my 30 round pre-ban mags that I cant use a Pmag body, spring, follower or what ever. So what 99% of us californians that do know the law just rebuild our mag with Pmag parts.

Would you still want buck at 25 yards or longer? I would guess a slug would be my choice after 25 yards?

Cant NYers just re-build their old mags? I know I re-built all my mags to E-mags I even re-built a old beat up mag into a beta 100 round drum. I am in Cali so NYers cant be off any worse than us.

This is only info I have read. But It seem that the spring moving back and forth is what causes it to weaken. I belive when I read this it was about the P-mags for ar15 I would guess that same info carrys over to the wolf spring carrier uses? all my mags for all my guns are loaded never a problem. I have had my USP9mm fully loaded for 10 years still works fine.

No I have no idea for sure if that is true or not! But I would bet the farm that it is NOT true.

CJ I personaly like your first idea. A home defence gun IMO you should be very comfy with it, thats why I grab my USP 9mm if I hear something. I shoot that the most and if something went wrong with it I could clear a round easy with out thought. That being said if you hunt and shoot 3 gun with the same shotgun home Defence problems would be easy to fix as you are so used to it. That and benellis just dont have problems,lol.

I agree Although I never owned a pump I hear of people short stroking all the time. My M1S90 has never once failed to work with good ammo. and only failed 1 time with some super old bird shot. I also leave both M1 and M4 with a shell in the carrier. But i will admit when I hear a bump in the night i grab my HKusp 9mm only cuzz I feel comfy with it. size of it plays a big roll to me. Now if I was sure someone was in my house i would grab my M1 and as soon as I get time in with the M4 and learn to trust it that will take over.
