    M4 for sale

Must be asking a lot more than it is worth. No action at all.

I recently put a new in box, never assembled M1014 for sale on gunbroker and the highest bid was $1,800. Would have let it go, grudgingly, for $2,200 with c stock. Best I can find for an M4 right now is $1,475 plus shipping and ffl fees.
  3. I was reading a thread dated "Successful SOCOM Guy Mag Swap" dated 12/30/2008 where the guy removed the mag from a camo model without damaging the finsih. I would paste it here but not sure how to do it.
  4. Thanks for the info unobtanium. Do you suggest then that I brush on a coating of CLP around the joint with the receiver and mag? Sounds like a good idea to have a feel for when you should begin twisting. garnok
  5. I was wondering if the same basic process is the same for the replacement of the recoil tube on an M1014. Is the "loctite" the same as used on the mag tube? Same melting temperatures?
  6. I think i will forego the heat gun and find someone with a lot of hot air.
  7. Great tips. I will also be looking into the bolt release pad you mentioned. appreciate the advice, garnok
  8. Thanks for the info. I am glad you mentioned the over kill on the twisting with the strap wrench. I will use the heat gun till I can twist the mag manually. garnok
  9. Thanks for the info. Both you and Stranger Danger did not use loctite. I won't either. I want to be able to put the original one back one. Also, I forgot the pliers.
  10. Armed with the knowledge I have obtained in recent weeks, quite a bit of it from this forum, I will be removing the magazine tube from my M4 tomorrow. I have an IR thermometer, padding for the vice grip, plumbers strap in case my wrists give out, acetone, brushes, welders gloves, etc. Any opinions as to the use of loctite when I install the new tube? thanks,

Did you ever sell that M1014?
  12. I am sure you are right. I was too quick to judge as the advice by members has been very helpful for me in the short time I have been to the site. I look forward to continuing being a member and seeking future advice from the senior members.
  13. I am not sure if this is the right site for me.. I have seen a few of these "senior members" talk trash and belittle those with few posts on other threads as well. I guess having a couple of thousand posts is a free ticket to be rude and all knowing.
  14. I have an M4 that can receive a collapsible stock.. Even hve the stock.

    M4 for sale

M4 11707 with pistol grip. Lightly used in excellent condition. The factory magazine tube was removed and put back on. Easy full mag add on if desired. $1,150 http://www.upitall.com/Private/u/230/375/4343 http://www.upitall.com/Private/u/230/375/4344 http://www.upitall.com/Private/u/230/375/4345 http://www.upitall.com/Private/u/230/375/4346 San Diego - North County.
  19. I am looking for a standard pistol grip stock for an M4. Thanks.
  20. That is the most concise description of collapsible stocks and recoil tubes that I have read for the 1014 and 1107,s. I have both now and I enjoy having the different configurations.
  21. I am going to keep it. Probably put it on my 1014 limited edition and sell the collapsible stock. Looks like the stocks will soon be worth as much as the guns. The mag tube is 18.25 inches from tip to tip. Not sure how much trouble it is to install it or how much trouble I can be in for doing so.
  22. I have a Benelli M4 11707 that was purchased a little over three years ago for close to $1,700. Still looks brand new and has the two position recoil tube and collapsible stock. Also accessories like halo sights, flashlight, foregrip. Have full length choke tube but not attached. All fits in a pelican case. Could part with it for fair price. I am new to this forum but will post some pictures when I figure out how. I also called four gunshops today located in Kentucky, Idaho, California and Texas. None of them had m4's in stock and said they were months out. I was typically quoted around $1,700. Is Benelli having a hard time keeping up with supplying our soldiers our as civilian demand gone up as well?
