  2. Ive got to know, how old is is your I12? Mine is 3 yrs old and has not had this problem, but the bolt seems to come out easier every time I clean it.
  3. DUCK!!!!!!!!!! Deer roast, grilled bacon and jalepeno duck, and deep fried duck for dinner tonight. Beer, rum and coke, and wine for the girls. good time with best friends!!!!!!!!
  4. Hoppes No9 Lube. I know it was froze because it was the 1st shot of morning, pulled trigger, nothing, no "click", acted like the safety was on, chkd safety, it was off, racked next shell, it was "stiff", next 2 shots no malfunctions. Picked up shell, no primer strike, put into gun and it fired. I leave mine a little "wet" during season.
  5. Busted today, gun was froze. Any kind of Anti-freeze lube out there? After first set it was all weary pins.
  6. Friday, Nov. 26. Odd group. Divers and dabblers. Shot both the redheads with 1 shot, they came in chest open, and stackked. And if I remember correctly, I think I requested that all spoonies were stopped before the Kansas/Oklahoma border.
  7. Thanksgiving morning. Should have had 5-6, but MISSED BIG on teal at like 15yds. Had to get out of field in time for lunch. Wife said thanksgiving would not ever happen in the duck blind.
  8. everyting above this post is before thanksgiving.
  9. What happened to the 2010/2011 pic thread?
  10. Happy B-day Tucker. And M, I didnt relize you were so good looking.
  11. Ducks- #2 Remington with factory Mod choke.
  12. "I'm lucky to find my guns sometimes as my wife does not like having them in our bedroom" my guns dont like my wife in the room.
  13. Its specifically for 2.5 German Geha. Its mauser converted to a shotgun. They have such a lite load becuase the shotgun is prone to having problems with todays powder. There were also shotguns built to shoot 21/2 brass blackpowder shells. These will accept 23/4 but will be big problems. The brass shell will expand to be 23/4, so when you put a new 23/4 shell in it has no room for the shell to open. This is why the shell you are looking at has such a low dram, it is a replacement shell for older guns. Your gun also says on it "for 23/4", 3", and 31/2 shells. So 23/4" sounds like the shortest they are SUPPOSE to shoot. (probably wont shoot 33/4"or 4" shells either)
  14. Dove starts tomorrow, early teal Sept. 11-26. Cant wait, spotted over 300 teal on one of my spots, over 100 on the other. The heat is bad, we teal hunt in swim trunks with layout blinds about 6-8 in. in the water.
  15. migratory game birds That's what our guide told us the rule was in "NORTH" Dekota. http://gf.nd.gov/regulations/smallga....html#pheasant Quote: 20. Legal Firearms and Ammunition Game Birds and Waterfowl - Only firearms no smaller than 410 gauge nor larger than 10 gauge loaded with shot and capable of holding no more than three shells, legal archery equipment, and raptors may be used. Pistols may not be used to take migratory game birds. Nontoxic shot is required for some species and on some lands. Raptors may be used only by those possessing a falconry permit. Russ F. Pheasant are NOT migratory, they are upland. And its spelled Dakota, not dekota.
  16. I dont know, but ill definitely be looking for it to try.
  17. thanks for the help. Its getting closer to season. 34 days till Dove, aproxamately 48 till early teal. best of luck to all this season.
  18. Ok, Ive never used a MoJo or anything like it before, but bought one today. 85% off, couldnt pass it up. Never had trouble without one. But my question is how do use them? The placement is what im talking about. The 2 main places I hunt I use the "j" formation on my decoys. If not the "j", I put out 2 groups, each 9 decoys about 10yds apart in what I call "duck parties" and the ducks usually land between me and the decoys. Where would my mojo go? Ive been told ducks wont fly over other ducks to land?
  19. My profile says that my friendlist is emty. I did not notice this until this thread, this made me sad.
