I was told most recently that the .223 and 5.56 were the same round. I question this, but dont think to much on it because Im a shotgun guy. Dont even own a rifle yet.

I don't even think we have a rabbit season here in Florida I think we can hammer year round but I do know this time of year they do raise lil ones too. Here in Texas we dont want them raising little ones, they are a major nuissence and in MAJOR abundance.

Yall actually have a season on rabbit? In Texas its open season on rabbits year round and in most counties squirrel.

10 gauge waterfowl loads kicked like a 20 gauge though.... Thats good to know. My next gun purchase was going to be a 10ga auto, hearing this it makes it more likely. Definetly want the auto, not a pump.

There is beaver-tail also. I plan on getting a otter final attack, but dont know if I want something bigger/faster. Cant bring myself to using just a trolling moter. 2, maybe 3(if the water is low) public spots would just a trolling motor get me to were I need to be.

I have 2 shotguns and a rifle, a Franchi for duck, a Winchester for dove, quail, and pheasant, 270 win.(pre-***) for deer. I dont know many people who multi use a shotgun to the extent you want to. I would sugest the vinci, ive dove and quail hunted with it and a sbeII and it seems to be faster for me with the lighter loads.

Ive heard swan is good eating, they were for royalty in GB, I know crane is good table bird.
