  1. Thanks guys!! Remember these in the picture are the factory Benelli wood. Damn good deal for 225 if ya ask me haha. So I bought them to speed up my custom ones. Since the wood and plastic are slightly different this will insure that I don't hack up a rare (and very expensive) piece of Turkish walnut. LOL these in the picture will be for sale and my plastic ones in the very near future. I'm gonna pass on the killer deal I got on them. So if your wanting factory wood at a killer price PM me and I'll let you know when I'm done with them. Im gonna start cutting this weekend and don't expect to take more than a month making them. There is just something about wood that makes it warm and friendly. The plastic feels disconnected and well just a shotgun. The wood on the other hand is personal and art to me.
  2. I scored a beautiful set of black walnut furniture on eBay for 225!!! Since the wood and synethic stocks and forearms are different I can use the wood for a template. Ill post a picture later today
  3. Anyone want it? Make a fair offer and it's yours
  4. Sorry guys no current updates. I couldn't "pull" haha....myself away from the skeet range. The old m2 saw 800 rounds these past two weekends. Lol and ill admit I didn't clean it. Shot perfect and didn't miss a beat.
  5. Yes it is. I used two blocks of wood with a V cut out if each side. And put the tube in a vice. And spun the reciever. Came right out. If you need anymore pics let me know
  6. Sorry ill do it today. I forgot yesterday
  7. I can take some today. Do you want the tube in or out?
  8. Haha that's what gave me the idea. Little more proper. It's bad enough that I'm using an auto. HHaha my last name is Kolar and I had no idea there was a Kolar firearms company until I saw one at the range. Talk about expensive
  9. I'm excited too. If anyone has any design ideas or things they would change I would love to hear them. I'm basically gonna make a copy of the stock one. Checkering and all. I'm gonna make a mold of my current one. Then use the mold to make copy that I can cut in half down the center. I can then transfer that onto a piece if lexan or plexiglass for a template. I want it clear so I can see the wood grain and where to position it on the blank.
  10. I made my own out if titanium rod. Little bit of extra time, and patients.
  11. Ok gotcha. I was planning on copying the stock one. I appreciate the pic. It helps a ton. In the manual it shows the parts breakdown for my stock and the wood one. So I will have to order a couple pieces. It's gotta sit for a few weeks anyway. I'm by no means in a hurry to get it done. But I'll start cutting the first sat of August. Every sat I go to the skeet range and then drop by the wood shop. Ill keep this thread updated as I go.
  12. Thanks truck cop. Any chance you got the measurements for the back end? A pic of the front? Awesome man appreciate it!!
  13. Yes sir. You can see the block for the forearm in the pic.
  14. So I got a wild hair up my ass to make my own furniture. My buddy owns a high end woodshop. By high end I mean 10,000 doors. Not even kidding. So this will be really easy for him. However he is letting me do it with him supervising and explaining along the way. So I ordered some Turkish walnut and away we go. This wood has cured for 7 years so we first planed it and now it has to sit for a few weeks and get use to the moisture again. Anyway it's going on my m2. I currently have the comfort stock. My question is what or how to secure the buffer rod in stock. I would still like the adjustability but its not required. Thanks
  15. I'm thinking of swapping out my composite stock and forearm. Can I even get wood for it?
  16. Is there a pic on how ya do it?
  17. Anyone ever made one. Doesn't look do difficukt
  18. I'm picking up a nice m2 today. It has a 24" vented barrel. I'm looking for a 21". Anyone wanta swap
  19. Yes sir I will keep it well lubed. I think I'm gonna grab it. Seems to be one of the best benelli s ever made. Out of all the post about guys selling them they all regret it. I like the fact it's as fast if not faster than guns made 25 years later. It's nice to be the young buck with the classic benelli. My wheels are turning about making stuff for it. Maybe a titanium receivers? Sorry I'm just excited. Last shotgun I owned was a 870 express 20ga dove gun. It was beat down when I got it in the late 80's. I could barely hold that spray painted thing up. Lol my uncle still has it to this day. Like a old farm truck just won't die
  20. Well I'm thinking this is the police variant. Although not sure if they made any different ones. Lol im not really worried about replacement parts. Hopefully it will last many years. But like I stated if it breaks ill make a new one. thanks for the help guys keep it coming. I'm on the fence big time.
  21. Trench gun? Please explain all I know it's a 121 m1. How much rice exactly?? It ain't cheap but in my budget. And it's beautiful and classic
