  1. For those of you that received a shipping confirmation last week and are still waiting for your mag tube to arrive, I just got this email back from Marcy at Carriercomp. Some great customer support from these folks - I always get a prompt response when I have a question. Looks like my wait is almost over! In the meantime, my M4 is patiently waiting for it's new mag tube Dear Lincoln, These are actually packed and ready to ship today. Kip got called out of town, and didn't make it back until a couple of days ago. He is the only one who applies coating, so we had to wait for him. Sorry for the extra delay. Here is the tracking number for the package. 940590969993850530xxxx Thanks again, and Enjoy!! Sincerely, Marcy Carrier carriercomp
  2. Thanks for the report. I have to say that I've had a similar experience with my M4. I've run just about every type of ammo I can get my hands on, I'm still in the break-in phase but have yet to have any issues. My father gave me a couple boxes of shells - I was kind of skeptical to run them through my Benelli, but he assured me I they'd be fine. Judging by the boxes I'd have to say they're from the '60's or 70's! Some seriously old ammo! Just as my dad said, I had no issues cycling these though my M4 - I can't complain about free ammo!
  3. I got a response from ProMag. I'm shipping it back to them and they'll be issuing me a full refund. So, I am still looking for a genuine c-stock, if anyone has one let me know.
  4. The retaining pin is there, but it looks very worn. I've only been to the range twice with this stock, so I find it hard to believe it's worn out already. I'm guessing it's just some really cheap metal.
  5. Much appreciated, I'll check it out.
  6. Thanks for the info Sukhoi. Excuse my ignorance, but where exactly is this retaining pin I should be looking for? Below is a pic of my stock - please excuse the chipping paint lol.
  7. I'm looking for a genuine Benelli M4 c-stock, either new or like new conditon. I took my POS Pro Mag c-stock off today do to it failing to stay in the locked position every time I fired a round! I know there are some on Gunbroker, but they're beyond the price which I'm willing to spend on one. Thanks.
  8. Just got my shipping confirmation today - what a great Memorial Day present!
  9. I ordered mine on December 31st and I'm still waiting. Hopefully I'll receive it by the end of the month....
  10. Placed my order on Dec 31st and have yet to receive a shipping confirmation yet...hopefully soon.
  11. I'm glad I was able to get my Glock 19, 26 and Benelli M4 for under MSRP after the craziness began. If you go on gunbroker or any other online site, prices have skyrocketed as we all know...$900 for a gen 4 Glock 19 and $2500 for a M4 seem to be the norm these days. I did give in and buy a Glock 33 round magazine for $100 from a shipment that sold out within 10 minutes of it being posted - at least I got one. I just wish I picked up some more 5.56 and 9mm ammo back when things were somewhat normal. Here's a good video about the ammo shortage:

    new m4

I shot my M4 for the first time this weekend as well. I disassembled, cleaned and re-lubricated everything before putting it back together. I put 25 rounds of 3" high brass bird shot though it and had not issues whatsoever. I'd say lube it in good shape and shoot some hotter loads though it.
  13. OP, I had my Pro Mag C-Stock delivered to me on Friday the same day I picked up my brand new M4. The fit and finish of the stock was actually better than what I was expecting - no chips or marring on the coating. Installation was very easy, I just followed this video: My Pro Mag works perfect, no issues with it being too tight or not locking in correct positions - I can easily go between all 3 without any hang-ups. Make sure you have a the 3 position tube, like the others have said. I put 25 rounds though it today in the -3* temps here in VT - I love this gun!
  14. Hey all, I'm new to the forums and was lucky enough to find a brand new 11707 Benelli M4 on Gunbroker.com this morning. I tried to source one locally, but all the gun shops around here were sold out and had no idea when they'd get some back in stock. Almost all the online listings I've seen in the past couple of weeks were priced at $2400 and up, which is ridiculous! Fortunately I was able to find a seller who just listed a brand new M4 for $1699 - I snatched it up within an hour of him posting the add. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to owning the best tactical shotgun on the market! I already have a Pro Mag C-stock and a CarrierComp 7 round magazine tube and follower on order. I'm sure I'll be lurking on here quite a bit - looks like there's a lot of useful info.
  15. Yes, I actually ordered a Promag stock yesterday. From what I can tell it looks identical which is a plus, I'm just concerned about the build quality - guess I'll find out for myself.
  16. You should have ordered a couple - I would gladly take one off your hands for $200 Too bad they can't sell to active military or veterans
