I bought a very rugged Plano hard case from Midway USA. It was on sale for $65. I shipped my M4 to Benelli from Idaho for warranty work. It did an excellent job of protecting my gun.

I'll take the collapsible stock if it is OEM Benelli. Paypal is fine with me.

That's ok guys. I really appreciate your feedback. The only reason I sent it to Benelli was that the customer service rep insisted that something must be wrong and strongly encouraged me to send it to Benelli. No cost to me, but a couple of weeks w/o my M4. I was out of town anyway so no lost shooting time. You guys were right on so after feedback from you and Benelli I know that I've got a great product with no problems. Thanks for your help.

Finally got out to the range. Shot Federal, Remington, and Winchester 00 1325 fps Buckshot with no feed or eject problems. Shot Fiocchi 00 Buckshot and had failure to feed and eject. It improved slightly. Rather than every third round having a problem, it occurred after every 5th round. Not going to buy anymore Fiocchi. Benelli checked out my M4 and completely serviced it. They shot Federal, Remington, and Winchester 00 Buckshot with no problems. They said the gun had no mechanical problems. I think you guys were correct. Fiocchi ammo was the problem.

I contacted Marcy at CarrierComp. She said they were indeed going to produce charging handles this fall, but was uncertain when they would be available. After they are made they are subcontracted out to apply the black finish which takes longer than she would like. So Unobtanium you are correct. It's only a matter of time.

I'd really like to have a CarrierComp Charging Handle, but it doesn't look like they are going to produce them in the foreseeable future. What is my next best option?

Got my Carrier Comp 7 Rd magazine today. Worth the wait. It's beautiful. Now for the installation.

Got my M4 back from Benelli this afternoon, two weeks to the day from when I shipped it to them. What great service! I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I'll report back after I shoot it.

Let us know if it works out. I'd like to order one if it does.

Got a notice today that my CarrierComp order has shipped. I ordered it 4 1/2 mos ago. I don't know if this is typical of production time for most orders, but it may give you an idea of what to expect if you place an order. I didn't mind the time it took because I appreciate the quality of Kip's products. It's worth the wait.

I agree with Unobtanium. Benelli will fix the problem. The Benelli CS rep said that Fiocchi 00 Buckshot is not causing the problem and encouraged me to ship it to Benelli as soon as I received the return label so that they could fix it and return it to me ASAP.

Thanks for all of your feedback. I called Benelli about my problem and they asked me to ship my gun to them at their cost. They will put a rush on the repair/service and said I will have it on my doorstop within three weeks. That will make me happy.

My M4 is box stock. No mods.

It is high velocity 00 buckshot (1325 fps). Does the M4 require a break-in period before it works properly?

After shooting two rounds it ejects just fine but does not feed in another shell. Then other times after shooting another round the case gets hung up in the ejection port.
