Milspec, maybe see if the reassembly is holding things up? If so, I'd be happy to reassemble it for you.

I appreciate that sir.  I may reach out to them tomorrow.  I checked my online “repair ticket” and it’s been showing ready to be packaged and shipped for almost two weeks.  They usually aren’t too shy about asking for payment.  Sort of odd.

I’m wondering if they are waiting to test fire or perhaps working out some last minute kinks.  Either that my two other tickets might be ready to come back from plating and they want to ship everything at once.  The other items have been in “plating” status for about 3 1/2 weeks.  I’m thinking they should be back to them any day.

All speculation on my part.  ?

They did return my AR bolt carrier components.  Mangled gas rings and all.

  2. Am I losing it or did Benelli do away with the notches on their branded chokes?

I just picked up a new Benelli Imp Cyl choke for another shotgun from Midwest.  It’s marked improved cylinder On the side of the choke so no issue there.

After installing I realized it didn’t have the notches on the end.  I have the same choke for my M4 and I’m 95% sure it has the notches.  I can’t check it because it’s not with me at the moment.  These Benelli brand chokes appear to be made by Trulock.

I know for a fact that the mod choke which came with the M4 has the notches.  It also has a black finish as opposed to the stainless appearance of the Benelli/Trulock version.

It’s just throwing me for a loop.  I started to think nutty things like I defaced the choke using my Briley speed wrench for the first time lol.

  3. I was manually cocking the hammer with my thumb I noticed the disconnector does not engage the hammer.

When testing the reset as part of the function check while cocking the hammer, the disconnector does engage.  Then upon release of the trigger it resets accordingly.

I probably never noticed before but is it normal for the disconnector to not engage like I mentioned in the first line above?

It just didn't look right to me.

  4. Benelli H2O M4 complete barrel assembly with NP3 plating by Robar!

This has been used but minimal rounds, roughly 200. You can see handling and some wear on the barrel but the finish is intact. Some minor marks and spotting are visible.

The bore is in excellent condition, it was hard to get a good photo. Both pistons move freely and look to be in excellent condition. There are a few handling marks/light abrasions towards the end of the muzzle on one side but this is all cosmetic. Please see photos and examine carefully. Note, it does not have a choke.  More pictures available upon request.

This is great for a H2O build. Or, this could be a superb back up for your H2O NP3, Titanium cerakote or your stock black M4 versions.

Payment can be made by postal money order, Venmo or discreet PayPal F&F or add 3.5%.

    $515.00 Shipped.

  6. Great price, great!  I've had my Tac for 6 years.  Awesome pistol, suppresses well.  Unfortunately, mine hasn't seen as much daylight as it deserves.

I'm currently in the process of upkeep on it.  I want to replace the sights because the tritium is dimming and I'm going to get an SRO for it.

I ditched the RMR because to me the battery location is unacceptable.  I'd prefer to try a Delta Point Pro but it doesn't quite fit without doctoring/filing it down.

I had planned to go the Aimpoint Acro route but I sold mine when it was NIB.  All the horrific battery life issues made me drop it like a hot potato.  Aimpoint really screwed the pooch on that one.

    yes

sand, primer, sand, primer, sand, etc. until it is nice and smooth. epoxy primer. (wet sanding, so the fibers aren't damaged and curled out and carefully - ask me how i know)

That sounds like a pain in the nuggets.  Anything oil or epoxy based is a PITA.  I know it's better than acrylic etc but it sucks to work with.
