  1. You'll have problems. Don't know if you have a choke at the end of your barrel but my hunting smoothe bore does. Bulged bad enough I couldn't remove my choke. Sent it in to benelli and got the run around that they don't cover bulged barrels. They clearly know it's their product failure when it's happening over and over. But they just want to sell me another barrel. Another barrel that will bulge again?
  2. Damn some of you sound like benelli reps lol. My experience with benelli customer service is that they don't give a damn what happened. I have a bulged barrel by the choke and they want to sell me a barrel. They are in business to sell products. They aren't like Remington which will practically send you a free barrel to win your customer service. Definitely isn't like my car dealership that will offer me a free carwash after I paid them $1500 for car service.
  3. As of February 12,I sent in my benelli barrel with the same bulge around my choke. I can't even remove my choke. Factory choke. I fired steel factory loads and always take care of my gun and barrel. They still won't warranty my barrel and want to charge me$250 for new barrel or$120 used barrel. Now they have my barrel and are waiting for my payment. I told them I'll think about it. My gun was the first gen benelli nova. Had a great time shooting for all those years but when it comes to warranty and standing by their product benelli is shit. I specifically told the benelli reps that it's a dangerous condition to shoot with their bulged barrel and they just gave me the run around that they don't cover bulged barrels. Research shows that benelli barrels are too thin around the choke, therefore bulges will be the outcome.
  4. You mean 2 shells in magazine and one shell in chamber. When you pop the first shell rack it smoothly back and forth. Should reload smoothly. If it get stuck unload and try again. My 15 year old nova started having this issue but after I rack a few times it seems to function flawless. Trial and error. Somehow the spring and follower needs to be moved up and down. I also changed my follower to a nordic follower. After so many years that cheap plastic follower expanded and would jam up and not let me load into magazine.
  5. 15 year benelli nova owner here. I duck hunt hard fit 10 years straight. Only started misfiring when I used a Carlson's replacement barrel. I had to make sure my locking cap was screwed tight every few rounds. And sometimes when I get clicks I would have to reload my chamber and rack the next round hard. No clicks after hard racking. I rack hard shot after shot and it bangs every time. Make sure your barrel cap is tightened and you rack that shell in the chamber hard like your woman likes it.
