  1. I'll track down a second M3 and do the deed. I've tried going through some contacts in Europe (embassies and etc.), but no luck. There's a few places between Virginia and here (GA) that will be able to handle the barrel work: http://www.benellidefense.it/products/m3-185 Got my eyes on a S.Co Salvo as well, especially since the wait times are getting "shorter"...
  2. Also, why was the M3 initially (and is still to this day) released with a 19.75" barrel and not the standard 18.5" bbl?
  3. ...or would it be more feasible to buy a new/like-new M3 LE Tactical, buy (& wait for) a tax stamp for an SBS, install the short +2 mag tube ext., then have the barrel cut the barrel cut down? 🤔🤔🤔
  4. Question for you Benefactors of Benelli Knowledge... Was there ever a final consensus about obtaining the M3 Entry 5+1 SBS w/ 14.5" barrel and c-stock? (link: http://www.benellidefense.it/products/m3-145-telescopic-stock ) Even just the shorter barrel would be something (w/ proper stamp first, of course...). See pics below. I saw some traffic on a different forum some years ago but nothing else ever since. Are these only "overseas" to MIL/LE, or has someone here stateside cracked the code to legally track down and own one of these unobtainium scatter guns? Any knowledge or information would be great. THX!
  5. Why would you rate the new factory (OEM) multi rail over the B&T quad rail? The OEM requires the proprietary pic rail sections, whereas the B&T doesn't. Of course, this is only an option IF the B&T isn't as much of a PITA as it seems to be for some. Would you also run with the OEM multi rail over the Agency Arms rail on a 2020 M4 for top barrel & receiver coverage? THX
  6. Reviving an old topic, so apologies in advance... I just received one of these B&T Quad Rails from MGW (part #BT-211510, link: https://bt-parts.com/bt-211510-b-t-handguard-for-benelli-m4-super-90/#description) to see how it will fare replacing a rail from Agency Arms MLOK Rail (https://www.agencyarms.com/benelli-m4-compatible-mlok-handguard) on my M4 H2O from 2020 . The only reason for this rail swap is to see if the B&T will be better covering the top of the barrel near the receiver while providing decent mounting points for a light and etc., as the Agency Arms is "open" at the top when mounted and is still hot w/ gloves. The B&T website for the quad rail states: " *Please note, due to possible revisions that have been implemented to the Benelli M4 Super 90, your firearm may require hand fitting for proper function depending on the specific revision you currently own. " I've got a new M4 Entry (w/ 2024 mfg date) in the penalty box, and I'm willing to try this B&T quad rail out on it to see what are the potential issues some shooters are having. The "new" Benelli OEM quad rail looks nice, but I'd rather have the more actual/useable space on the B&T quad rail if I can get it to work properly. If so, I'm purchasing another B&T to have two for my M4's and I'll be parting ways with the Agency Arms M-LOK rail as well as the Benelli OEM quad rail soon. More to follow...
  7. Got it, many thanks! (I forgot to look at the separate schematic for stocks... I need some TACO's) Once again, those items "should" be able to be reused from what's already on the new M4...
  8. One last thing... Does anyone know what the M4 Telescoping Stock Plate is (# 70080)? I don't see it on the schematics, but I do see them listed on FFT and MGW: https://freedomfightertactical.com/products/70080-benelli-m4-oem-plate?_pos=1&_sid=a25f08652&_ss=r https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/70080 THX!
  9. OK, CONFIRMED: All of the internal parts of the 5-Position Tube Assembly (# 70135) are the exact same as the internal parts of the older/previous 3-Position Tube Assembly (# 70043). Verified by two (2) unit armorers and Benelli C.S. today. This means that I can use the extra OEM M4 Collapsible Stock (# 70085) I have already on the new M4 Entry if I can find a plain 3-Position Tube itself (# 70130). I know the newer LE M4's may have a "better" collapsible stock w/ 5 positions and are now common with LE M3's and SuperNova's, but I like & prefer the classic "look" for the original M4 c-stock. I do see some aftermarket 6-Position tubes out there, but I've yet to hear or see anything on them working out with the older c-stock parts...
  10. I'm tempted to find out by ordering everything, or I can just wait for them to come back in-stock at MGW. Especially since the M4 Entry I just purchased (# 11729) is in the penalty box pending e-form stamp. FFT's # 70043 are $400+ currently...
  11. Resurrection... Do we know if the internal parts of a "European" Benelli OEM M4 Recoil Spring Tube Assembly (# 70135) will fit & function properly inside an "American" Benelli OEM M4 Recoil Spring Tube (# 70130)? I'm trying to "create" a full-up 3 position OEM M4 Recoil Spring Tube Assembly (# 70043) but having trouble finding the separate specific parts to mount an "American" OEM M4 Collapsible Stock (# 70085). THX in advance for the help / sanity check.
  12. One thing's for sure about the Mark 23 (& the D.E.) is that you've gotta down a "Can of Man" (or two) to handle them. Definitely not for "delicate" hands or "weak" shooters, especially shooting .45 Super regularly. I've got a spare slide inbound for my Mark 23 to receive a direct milling job for an Acro P-2. Should be quite a beast...
  13. Not sure if I've already posted these, but here's what I've got set up for the Mrs. when she feels the need for running mini/shorty shells. She's got both the M&P12 and I got her the 12ga Shockwave as a gift this year (and added a "spike")... The Tac-13 is my "Thumper" that I wish could properly cycle the same mini's but it does just fine with the low recoil shells and has since been SBS'd (no "spike" however... yet).
  14. Any other changes on the newer M4's besides the handguard, front sling attachment point, and fiber optic front sight? Any mechanical/operational changes or upgrades? THX
  15. Oh no Sir, I'm retired now but I did the boneheaded thing and became a DoD military contractor on an Army base here in GA. I have my worries about today's military...
  16. Thank you Sir for your service and sacrifice. I joined in '98, and things have changed so much between then and now. Especially in regards to Rules of Engagement with a shotgun against enemy combatants outside of a declared time of war. We had certain "deliberate" actions we had to take with a shotgun due to international "opinions" and such...
  17. Sure enough, IF the Det Commander let's you go. During my tour in Panama City, there was a lot of civil unrest locally and the State Dept "highly frowned" upon U.S. personnel from venturing out too much (yeah, right). Although it wasn't recommended we go fishing or on most tours, some U.S. Representatives came down on a "Diplomatic Mission" but spent most of their time catching a lot of Peacock Bass. That was the only time I personally got the chance to go, as I was "at work" with the DoS & PSD escort detail.😁
  18. For my Marine Security Guard assignments to the U.S. Consulate (Embassy now) in Panama City and the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, we had our M1014's (M4's) equipped with the stock Benelli split handguards. They were set up that way for a reason and they worked 100% without fail, as Benelli had intended. The stock handguards may not be "high speed" or have lots of accessory mounting options, but they are actually the best thing for the M4 especially if it can protect the Agro dual piston gas system in both Central America and the Middle East. My detachments were not always indoors with the rest of the State Dept personnel and Contracted Security crews, as we routinely trained with national & local forces (and even other countries' forces) in their varied environments with our issued gear. Our M1014's handled everything like a champ, even when we had a couple of actual incursions by militants and insurgents. For OIF and OEF (& to some extent, OIR), the M1014/M4's stock handguards took on and survived some of the harshest operating conditions and environments and still performed outstandingly well in protecting the dual pistons. Although I was equipped with my M240B, we saw "teams" with their Benelli's looking like they've been through literal #ell but they were still "taking out the trash" with them. As MSG, the only thing we couldn't do with our '1014's was modify the stock set up and functionality of them, lest we'd potentially cause an international incident. That should tell us all something about the stock handguards, as they just simply work and do their designed job. And that's to provide us Marines a perfect ergonomic place to grip to shotgun while we buttstroke the enemy in the teeth... (per DoS, DoD, and RoE regs, of course) (sorry about the wall of text and rant) I'm currently using the Agency Arms handguard on my M4, as it is a backup HD shotgun that needed a WML and a foregrip for my Dad. I can see myself with another M4 very soon as a "slick" SBS w/ stock split handguard & stippling.
  19. No, it's gone my Friend. Sold it rather quickly, but thanks for asking & looking.
  20. Working on tracking down some better still pics of these on M3's and M4's, and I guess these new sling swivels may coincide with the new forend for the M4/M1014. MNY THX for the help.
  21. Greetings Shooters, hope all are doing well. Got a quick question for the masses in regards to late model M3 and M4 Tactical shotguns... I have seen quite a few 2022 (& possibly 2023) M3 LE and M4 Tactical shotguns with what looks like a new-style Benelli OEM Sling Swivel that has a single Quick Disconnect (QD) point on it. Does anyone know what the "new" part numbers are, and if they're capable of being purchased separately? There are some YouTube videos that show this on newer M3 LE models: Benelli IT M4 pg 5.pdf
  22. Sold. Many thanks to all for looking. Until next time, stay safe!
  23. Extra pics... I'm adding an authentic and fully functional $250 Holosun HS503CU Multi Reticle Red Dot to this Benelli SuperNova 12ga bundle deal. This is the red dot that I initially had mounted on the SuperNova when I purchased it but they both never received any "love" from me as it waited behind my other shotguns. Features are 1x 20mm Lens, Red 65 MOA Circle with 2 MOA Dot, Low Profile and Lower 1/3 Co-Witness (not pictured) Mounts, Installed CR2032 Battery, and all accessories (minus original box). Everything will ship securely together with your purchase but if there's any questions or concerns, please let me know. Thanks for looking!
