  1. Thank you gentleman. Much appreciated. GS
  2. Have any of you used Carrier Comp for Benelli components? His stuff looks nice. What was your experience? Thank you. GS
  3. I speak only for myself, no one else. I may be many things, but clueless is genuinely not one of them. And I have no beef with Antione whatsoever, in fact I think he provides a great service to the overall Benelli community and I commend him for that. I shall purchase from him again, as I need a titanium magazine extension for my new Benelli M4 H2O. Take care. GS
  4. I suppose part of it is where your moral compass may guide you, or not. I have rarely made double what I paid for anything. Indeed, it is more common for me to lose money on sales, primarily because I want people to have what they want, or more importantly, need. Who am I to hold an item hostage for triple its value out of unmitigated greed? Let alone to someone who may need it? This is bigger than just firearms, we saw it when COVID began and hand sanitizer, etc. Yes, I would make a terrible business man, but it is who I am. Capitalism does not have to be a euphemism for greed, although many hide behind this use to justify their greed. My two cents. GS
  5. I dealt with Antione once. It was, shall we say, bittersweet. On one hand, he did have the very difficult to find factory Benelli magazine extension for my M3. On the other hand, he stated that the magazine spring was included, alas, it was not. GS
  6. These items have been sold. Moderator please remove. GS
  7. OK, I must have overvalued them. Not trying to be greedy, honestly. I have zero need for these items anymore as I sold my Benelli M3. If I do say so myself, I am a trustworthy fellow. I have significant positive feedback on Gunbroker as Genetically Swiss. BTW, if this magazine extension is something other than for an M3, will someone speak up? Because when I purchased it from Benelliparts.net (Antione), I had never seen one before. $150 total for both items, shipped anywhere CONUS (Continental USA) GS
  8. Guys, I recently sold my M3. As such, I have two M3 parts I want to sell as a package. First is a brand new, never installed full length magazine tube for the Benelli M3, with the full tube you can add 7, 2 3/4" shells. Unfortunately it comes with no spring, this is just as I received it from Antoine. Second is a brand new, still in factory packaging, field buttstock that will fit either a Benelli M1 or M3. $225 shipped, anywhere in the Continental U.S.. GS
  9. Try contacting Benelli. That’s what I would do. GS
  10. My M3 has a CS (2017) date code. GS
  11. Have any of you tried DDupleks solid steel slugs? Some are discussing the potential use of them as self defense rounds against very large bears (Grizzly/Coastal Browns), and even black bears up there. One ounce solid steel slug at 1,460 fps. Wicked. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1019157836 GS
  12. I do not know the answer to your question. But I did pick up a Benelli 7-round magazine tube extension for my Benelli M3 from Benelliparts.net. Not sure if he still has them though. His service was excellent, quick and I had the part in two days. GS
  13. That is a righteous ride. When I was 16, I took my drivers test in my Dads 1967 Lincoln Continental, suicide doors and everything. Parallel parking that beast was a job. GS
  14. I’ve been retired for a grand total of 4 days. We currently live in SE Washington State in, effectively, the desert. We are permanently relocating to be near our daughter and now, three grandchildren, one of whom is only two months old. Where, one might say? Why North Pole, Alaska, about 10 miles South and East of Fairbanks. Yes, it gets very cold during the long Winters, like -40 Fahrenheit cold. We have been there many times, including Winters. I spent (literally) two Winters up there in the field, in a tent at night and out and about during the day when in the service. Now THAT was cold! I intend on hunting both moose and caribou, neither of which I have hunted. I have hunted elk, mule deer, blacktail and whitetail deer though. Anyway, the point of this was my choice of shotgun. I bought the Benelli M3 because it has the pump option in the highly unlikely event of an issue with the semi-auto, read extreme cold. The primary purpose of the shotgun will be home defense as well as a trail gun when hiking or exploring. I absolutely do not desire to be confronted by a big bear and don’t want to have to shoot one, but will to save my life. More importantly, IMO, is using common sense in not deliberately placing myself in danger. But stuff happens. Thoughts? GS
  15. Thank you gentlemen, I went ahead and ordered a 7-round Benelli M3 magazine from Antione at Benelliparts.net. If his website is correct, he has two more remaining, frankly, I have seen them nowhere else. GS
  16. Thank you for the welcome. Here are a couple of photos. Can anyone tell me who, besides Midwest Gun Works makes a magazine tube extension for the Benelli M3? I checked my usual go to Nordic, Daves Metal Works and also Briley but it did not appear either of them did. Benelliparts.net has a factory 7-round magazine(s) for $200, but I am hesitant to buy from him because of some things I’ve read here. GS
  17. Good day ladies and gentlemen, this my first post here and I am hoping that I posted in the correct place. I was finally able to upgrade to a Benelli from my old Mossberg 590A1. The 590A1 served me well and never faltered, but I have always wanted a Benelli. So today I purchased a like new in box Benelli M3 (date code CS - 2017), I was fortunate to get the original box and all accoutrements. I am well pleased. Thank you for allowing me onto your forum. I hope to learn a great deal. GS
