  1. I got it because it just looks hot! Having said that I love the adjustable LOP, can't imagine ever going to a fixed stock. Made sure the Super Nova Tactical I picked up had one too.
  2. Thanks for the info SingleMalt. I'm glad it fits, looks a lot more comfortable to shoot with than the factory one.
  3. Does anyone know if the Limbsaver 10403 will fit the collapsible stock on my Super Nova Tactical LE? I think on a pump action the recoil absorption would be most helpful.
  4. Always liked pump shotguns and have been intrigued by the Super Nova Tactical. I thought it would make a good outdoor companion for camping or at the cabin. Found a good deal on one so it's on the way. Seems like a lot of shotgun for $589.00. I've never handled one before but I'm pretty sure I'll like it.
  5. Thanks for posting benelliwerks, that is most helpful!
  6. Thanks for the link on the pliers, definitely want to have the right tools on hand if needed. I was thinking along the same lines as you on just unscrewing the extension and doing it that way. My thinking was that using the extension to capture the end of the spring to compress it would be easier than shoving the spring in the tube and trying to install the snap ring under all that pressure. I will definitely keep the mag tube pointed in a safe direction to escape injury. I feel for your painful reminder and will share one of my own. Leaning down I squirted a couple of gun parts with Gun Scrubber and it bounced back into my eyes. Thought I was going to go blind. After that little episode call me Mr. Safety Goggle guy! LOL
  7. I have a Carriercomp magazine spring on the way and have an install question. With the 2-piece tube that came on my 11715 do I remove the snap ring on the end of the tube or unscrew the plus 2 extension and install it that way. Also I want to get snap ring pliers for the snap ring to have on hand, any recommendations on size or type? Are there any other tools that are helpful to have for this platform? Thanks for the help, shotguns are new to me.
  8. I'm pretty new to Benelli and mulling over how I want to outfit mine, but I like the look of the Benelli forend. I'd like to get one but I don't think they are available for purchase.

    Choke question

I've done a search but still not sure about chokes. The M4 comes with a modified choke and I see videos on YouTube of people alternating between buckshot and slugs. If I'm wanting to shoot buckshot and slugs would an improved cylinder choke be the one to use?
  10. Hang in there five7. Though delays are frustrating I'd be happy that they actually sent one out. This past year on numerous occasions I have bought guns, magazines, etc., had my card charged then days later an email stating they were crediting my card because they are out of stock.
  11. Thanks for the list Ben eILes! That gives me some specific things to check out.
  12. Gunprime has them in stock for $2199 Benelli M4 Tactical 7RD 12Ga 18.5 Shotgun Collapsible Stock Ghost Ring 11721 - Gunprime
  13. I have a 11715-model coming that has the 7-round capacity though I think it is a 2-piece tube. I'll probably stay with that for the time being.
  14. Great advice CobraBG, I see how this could be a money pit. Lol Got to admit I've not been this excited about a gun in a long time. I mostly shoot my Hi Powers on the handgun front and Uzi's and a Tavor on the rifle side of things. Never had a shotgun until now and learning something new in shooting is fun for me.
  15. A batch of these must have hit the market. I've got one coming from Omaha Outdoors. Got it for $1999 delivered to my FFL and they had it shipped out in 2 days. Good guys, I'll definitely be shopping there again.
  16. Thanks for the welcome guys! There is a ton of information here, I'll use the search function so I'm not asking a lot of redundant questions. 03svt, what parts are hard to get that I should be looking for?
  17. Thought it would be a good idea to add a defensive shotgun though I have zero experience with one. I've admired the Benelli M4 since it came out and since I don't see myself needing more than one shotgun in that role I decided to "buy once, cry once" and just get what I wanted. So I have one inbound and joined this forum to gain some knowledge. What I have learned so far is that with all these cool (and usually expensive) upgrades for the M4 there will probably be more buying and crying! Lol
