  1. I picked up a new supernova about a month ago and through about 100 shells double fed a dozen or so times. I tried some different ammo with no improvement. Has anyone else had this problem or have any advice?
  2. Hey all, I've been having an issue with my Nova for a while now that I chalked up to user error (not sliding it back all the way, etc), but it happened quite a bit today for two different shooters, so thought I'd follow up here and see what people think. The problem is that the bolt appears to be binding up when feeding a cartridge from the magazine. The problem case keeps happening when shooting clays. I've put well over 1000 rounds of 2 3/4" target load through the gun by manually loading the cartridges into the ejection port over the past couple of years without a single malfunct
  3. I bought a Nova about a year ago for shooting clays, and I've put a couple hundred rounds through it without any problems. But, a couple of weeks ago, the trigger assembly accidentally slipped out of my hand while I was cleaning, and I broke off a small plastic bit that sticks up on the front left of it (see picture, circled in red). It doesn't appear that anything rests on it, slides across it, bumps against it, or has any kind of physical contact. It appears to simply be ther
  4. This might sound a little odd, but I take my Benelli M4 trap or skeet shooting regularly. Today, I was using the shells they sell you at the range (Low Recoil 12g, 1oz #8). Out of the 75 shells I shot, 4 or 5 of them jammed in the barrel so bad I needed to use my needle nose pliers to pull the shell out of the barrel. Assumption 1: I assume the low recoil shell doesnt have enough kick to push back the slide far enough to completely eject the spent shell. Assumption 2: I also assume I need a different round with enough kick to push the slide (not sure thats the right terminology) comp
  5. Brand new R1 300 win mag comfort tech won't cycle on first box of shells. Local gunsmith for warranty ( excellent help) had to re drill barrel port. First shells through after that jam with live round stuck on second shel every time. Back to local gun smith ( over an hour away)( once again very helpful and trying his best) finds chamber head space way off and has to ream out a factory gun. Big trip planned to Newfoundland in a week and a half and Stoeger Canada won't help. Please think twice before committing to a bennelli . To be fair accurate and excellent recoil but terrible customer s
