splashtx556ftw Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 i think they would prefer high gloss nickel or satin. you know, for high visability. Quote
birdbrooks Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 The birds don't get a chance to choose, all they're seeing is the shiny barrel-- that is, the tube from the muzzle end! Quote

highwall shu Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 I have long thought that folks spend way too much time worrying about different camo patterns. Any camo is better than none. All it really does is break up the outline of things, whether its you or your gun. And while I've long been a proponent of "form follows function", my BPS & SBEII both have camo. The best camo is being still, especially with turkeys. Quote
fxdrider Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 The turkey hen I got last Saturday didn't seem to mind a bit that my Stoeger Uplander wasn't wearing a bit of camo when I squeezed the trigger. I could ask her - if I hadn't already had her for dinner! Quote
