Duggan Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 No matter what I search for, or how many words are in the search string, it says "The search term you specified (sdf) is under the minimum word length (4) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer. If this term contains a wildcard, please make this term more specific." Is anyone else having this issue? Quote
IdahoDucker Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Not here. Just did a couple one word searches and it worked fine. Quote
tucker301 Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 It's not the number of words, but the length of those words. Every word must be four characters or more. Kind of a DUMB rule considering Benelli makes M2, M3, M1, SBE, and so on. Quote
Duggan Posted October 24, 2008 Author Posted October 24, 2008 Yeaaaa .... think there's any way we can get that changed? Quote
Lakotah Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Ya, the search function here sucks. I have tried to use it several times without much success. Quote
Admin Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 The search function works, but Tucker was right about the minimum character length. I lowered the minimum length from 4 to 2 characters and re-indexed the forums. This should resolve the issue. Quote
Duggan Posted October 24, 2008 Author Posted October 24, 2008 Thanks. That should solve a lot of problems. Quote
