Tim West
What is CLP and what is half mooning? Thanks. I have a 10 year old SBE and a new SBE II that seems to suffer from some of the maladies I see on this forum. It doesn't send a shell up after the first shot and will put a crescent indent in the brass. I replaced the spring and plug in the shot tube with stainless and a little better, but still jams. I'll try lubing the back spring and see if that helps. Any other advice appreciated.
NJgunner
Welcome to the forum. CLP stands for CLEANER LUBRICAN PROTECTANT its a popular 3 in 1 product for guns, military uses it. What kind of rounds are you shooting?
timb99
Common brand name is Break-Free CLP. Available in Wally World stores, at least in my area.
tucker301
Half mooning is showing just one cheek.
tucker301
But seriously folks... The only half moon I'm familiar with refers to a woodruff key, which is shaped like a half moon.
