calan
I'm interested in getting a Super Sport or Cordoba and these don't come in left handed models. Can the safeties on these models be converted for a left hander? Thanks.
tucker301
I have yet to see a Benelli that could not be reversed. Nova and R1 are a bit tricky, but the SBE, SBEII are easy. I assume the Cordoba and SS are of the same design. If the detent and spring are on top of the crossbolt, then it's easy as can be (about the same as Remington 870). If they are beneath the crossbolt, she's a bit of a beetch, but can still be done. Typically, Benelli will reverse them for you for free, if you can stand the turnaround time. Gunsmiths charge about as much as it costs to ship it to and from Benelli. Edited December 20, 2008 by tucker301
