patterson0108
Hey just wondering if anyone knew if Benelli could refinish a gun that has some scratches on the receiver. I have a SBE11 with Max4 Camo. Didn't know how costly it might be. Thanks
highwall shu
I'm under the impression that these camo patterns are put on with a dipping process. The camo is floated on a vat of liquid and the gun part is dipped into it. Don't know the rest of the process. Look at the bottom side of the barrel and you'll see a straight line where the pattern meets. Don't know if they would re-do that for you, probably have to ship it to Italy which would take the rest of the waterfowl season as well as being very expensive. Why would you want the scratches removed? The ducks and even geese & turkeys won't see them. I think of all the dings & scratches on my guns as kind of like war wounds and don't let it bother me.
