tactical1 Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I was able to get a little behind the scenes info on these barrels and it is my understanding they were dropped from the line as there were some jamming issues - apparently not all low recoil loads are created equal. There was one on GB recently that sold for $270 or so - MSRP on a new M4 barrel is close to $700 - so, from an investment standpoint, that barrel might be good if you run regular loads, but then you might have some durability issues as the set up was for low recoil - maybe too much gas isn't a good thing YMMV Quote
Mike Grasso Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Information I received was that the originial barrels were produced with some of the "Less Lethal" ammunition in mind. They still didn't work and they were being dropped. Quote
