Hopefully I linked these photos correctly, I received my TLR-1 today and put things together. All in all I'm pretty happy with the set-up. the light is nice and bright. The rail mounts provided for the switch seem very secure and the right angle plug that plugs in the lights backplate routes the wire directly under the rail without the "loop" you would get behind a straight plug. On the switch side I cut down an Ergo wire loom and again the wire is very flat to the rail with nothing to snag.

Looks great from my ****** 3gs. How easy is the switch to press?

The wire install looks real clean. Glad to see you went with the Daniel Defense sling mount. Be sure to remove the factory loop to save half an ounce.

Hey SD,

The switch is nice it's easy to hold down and the backplate has a constant on. I'm really happy with the way the side rail positions the switch above the forend. The switch is out of the way when you don't want it and it's right there above your thumb when you do.
