anyone shot any slugs outta there benelli smoothbore barrel. Any suggestions of ammo, chokes, cleaning afterwards. Im just new when it comes to slugs and I was wondering if anyone had any tips are tricks they could let me in on. Thanks

An improved cylinder or modified choke, and rifled slugs such as federal truball, Or if you want to use sabot slugs (which I would not in a smooth bore) get a rifled deer choke and I reccomend Hornady SST sabot slugs.

welp, ive already got a rifled choke tube. Should I shoot sabots or rifled slugs out of it? Will it make a difference?

Will it harm a rifled choke to shoot rifled slugs?

hehe i dont know.. but i shot some cheepo winchesters out of it and they were pretty accurate to be cheepos. I emailed carlson with that question and they said either sabots or rifled slugs were fine in their rifled choke.

i shoot 3 inch remington rifled slugs and they shoot good in improved cylinder, out of my nova.

Yeah I shoot both kinds of slugs out of my smooth barrel SuperNova and get fine results.
