ishootkittens Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 anyone shot any slugs outta there benelli smoothbore barrel. Any suggestions of ammo, chokes, cleaning afterwards. Im just new when it comes to slugs and I was wondering if anyone had any tips are tricks they could let me in on. Thanks Quote

Thanks An improved cylinder or modified choke, and rifled slugs such as federal truball, Or if you want to use sabot slugs (which I would not in a smooth bore) get a rifled deer choke and I reccomend Hornady SST sabot slugs. ishootkittens Posted August 7, 2009 Author Posted August 7, 2009 hehe i dont know.. but i shot some cheepo winchesters out of it and they were pretty accurate to be cheepos. I emailed carlson with that question and they said either sabots or rifled slugs were fine in their rifled choke. Quote
