Jhallig
Hello, I've been checking about a slightly used Super Black Eagle 1. Upon inspection, I noticed that I hear a spring moving backward and forward in the receiver. I'm positive it's not the magazine or recoil spring in the buttstock. I've checked other SBEs and have not heard the spring within the bolt moving around then I shake the gun a little. Any ideas what could cause this and if there is a remedy if in fact it is a problem? Thanks, Patrick
mudhen
Totally normal sound in a clean SBE. It's the inertia spring in the bolt assembly. It moves around a bit by design. Don't know why you didn't hear it in other SBEs, you should have

michaelap
I have the same thing with my new SBEII. I called cs to see what was wrong and they said it was normal. The SBEI I used to own didn't do it. I'm just gonna take their word for it.
