kmc0929
So a friend from Beretta/Benelli said they could get me a collapsable stock. How can I tell if my m4 will accept one? Is there a part that goes over the recoil tube and has the notches or does my tube have notches on it? Let me know!
kmc0929
Ok, what I think I actually need to know is, how can I tell if I have the multiple position buffer tube, and what will happen if i put a coll stock on a non coll tube. Hookster
Hey KMC, If your M4 is an 11707 your good to go with a multiple posion tube Look at the end panel of the box it came in if you still have it. on the sticker with all the bar codes on it Later, Hookster

markhb
Could you machine the notches into a regular tube?
texas skeeter
im sure a machine shop could, but you'd need the actual 3 position tube for measurements/reference. the tubes used to sell for approx 180$ a few months ago. the only one ive seen lately is on GUNBROKER selling for 289$ i believe. texas skeeter
I'd call them and request a return. Maybe it was a packing/shipping error. the gal there said it was the only tube they have/sell. they sell it stripped, which is what i bought. and they sell it w/ internal spring and clip installed as an assembly. i'll try and sell it here, but will call them back on monday to re-verify the info i have so far from them. thanks though DOOK!!
