tucker301
Contact your state's extension agency and get information from them. I'll go ahead and guess that you're in NC, since you didn't bother to say what state you're in. http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/ You could also check to see if a local chapter of Quail Unlimited or NWTF can offer some guidance. http://www.qu.org/quis2/index.cfm http://www.nwtf.org/in_your_state/lists.php?STATE=NC
timb99
Good advice from Tucker Not sure how much help you'll get from QU. They're bankrupt. You might try Quail Forever, which is an offshoot of Pheasants Forever.
jhreese
Q.U. has been reorganized and seems to headed in the right direction. Check with your state game department, most have biologists that could give you help. You might also visit your local USDA office and talk to the NRCS conservationist or the local Soil and Water Conservation District office.
