best USA mag extension tube and sling for M4 ?

my birthday is coming up and I have an M4 on order.

I am looking for a quality USA made mag tube, preferrably with macthed spring and follower.

 

also a good sling for the M4. does a sling count towards 944R ?

There's a high quality tube that comes with a wolf spring. You'll have to order a follower seperately if you want one made in usa.

 

I have a specter sling that I like. If by 944R you meant to say 922r then no, a sling doesn't count. But the follower and mag tube count.

After doing my research and based on feedback from this and other fourms, I chose the Ti tube from Carriercomp. There are others but I was looking for lightweight and strong enough not to be disabled by a dent or wrinkle in the tube. "Best" is subjective. Find out what you want/need. Then spec all the other tubes that are out there for the M4 and you decide. This is just my opinion. YMMV

 

As for the sling, I originally went with this for my M1S90: spectergear.com/benelli_cqb_sling.htm

I liked it so I got another for my M4.
