Rob72 Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Lack of experience and lack of appropriate platforms. Most shottys have far too much LOP. The M4, with stock collapsed, would be an excellent candidate for a forward mount grip. Doing it on a weapon with a 13"+ LOP will make you feel like a GI Joe action figure, unable to shoulder the weapon effectively, and arms over-extended. Quote
AggiePhil Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I'd like one. It'd help with the weight and would serve as a forward reference point when moving from target to target. I currently use the forward sling loop as a reference point but it's just slightly too far forward for my liking. Quote
wave Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I've tried the MagPul AFG mounted on a SureFire rail....I personally didn't like it and went back to the stock handguard(which really is very good). Quote
