Short M4 Stock ?

Is there a way to shorten the standard M4 fixed stock? This is at least an inch too long for me.

 

I wouldn't mind sending it out for good work if necessary.

And of course there is the Mesa Tactical Urbino Stock that will start shipping "next month"...but that's been the status for the last few years

 

It also sounds like you're willing to spend "some" money so perhaps the Benelli adjustable stock is an option for you if your state allows it??

 

And Benelli makes a field stock for the M4 but I have no idea on the dimensions. Might be worth a look.
