dprichard Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I have two really quick questions. I got a stock benelli m4 extension tube and when I went to install it I noticed it has a part covering the spring that doesn't allow the spring to extend into the extension tube. Do I need a special tool to remove this and does it go back into the extension tube? Also do I need to buy a new spring? Thanks for any help on this. Quote
dprichard Posted January 22, 2011 Author Posted January 22, 2011 K just got an email. Just used a screwdriver and carefully pryed it out. Then put it in the extension tube. Using the stock spring. Quote
StrangerDanger Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 You need snapring pliers to remove the spring retainer. It will also reinstall with the pliers. It should function fine with the existing spring. Carriercomp has a stronger one from Wolff. I'd recommend the upgrade. Quote
