birddogs
Hey Guys! I'm looking to buy my wife the Stoeger 2000 for waterfowling. We were just at Cabelas to buy one and nobody there could answer our question about a shorter stock or the ability to cut the composite stock down.My concern about cutting the stock down is that the screw holes for the recoil pad might be effected and unusable. I'm not sure without taking the pad off and looking at it. The other option would be to buy a shorter or adjustable stock for it. I cut her 11-87 wood stock down but this gun is composite. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!
birddog
What LOP are you looking to get to?
birddogs
It needs to be around 13" Edited January 24, 2011 by birddogs
Rob72
IIRC, it is a 13" LOP. Cut down is not hard: http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24972
TMAC
I hate to break it to you but that cut-down 11-87 is twice the gun the M2000 ever will be. I really think your about to mess up a perfectly good thing by swapping the 11-87 for the Stoger.
