pamat
I have recently purchased a new M4. My first mod will be the addition of a light. I am undecided about how to mount it. Has anyone used the Surefire M80 yet? Is it available? If the SF M80 is available, are there any problems with it? what about a vertical grip to go along with it? Is this something I should consider? Any opinions on the usefulness of a vertical grip on this weapon would be greatly appreciated. What about this mount? http://www.dsarms.com/item-detail.cfm?ID=BT21454&storeid=1&image=btremmnt.gif Does it interfere with disassembly? Any recommendations/personal preferences on switches, lights and mounts? Thanks in advance.
d
There are a few thread here about the B&T mount, do a search as the information and pictures are very informative. I do not thing the M80 is available. There are also many other options for a light mount, search the forum and you will find lots of ideas. regards-d

pamat
M1014, Is there a reason you chose that particular light mount? Would you recommend one like that instead of a sidearmor type? Do you see anything wrong with the ring mount I posted a link to above? I am not at all familiar with the switches available. Do you have an on/off plus momentary pad? How does the on/off work? separate switch? Thanks.
