pamat replied to montana_jeepn's topic in Benelli
no problem rokuss, I was just kidding around. I did do a quick look on Geissele's website thinking I may have missed something. But, I need to check their website out every month or so anyway. -
Geissele Automatics Benelli M4 hammer in stock at Brownells

Dammit, I spent an hour trying to find a place to buy the Geissele trigger. Thought I was missing out on something. -
I went through the same thing. I think what happened in my case is that the threads in the receiver were damaged when I took the original screws out. Then it didn't take much to completely strip them out when installing the new ones. I bought a heli-coil kit and heli-coiled all five holes.

awesome, simply awesome. Thank you VERY MUCH Kip. Can't wait.

What he said. waiting patiently.

Would you please email a copy as well? [email protected] Can you provide the address you sent your request to?? 13 is great. Thanks very much.

Ti collapsible on hold? Any idea how long? Still in the works sometime in the future? I hope so. I already sent the "SOLD" email to get one of the first ones when they become available.

What would you most like to see invented for the M4 to get good with 922r?
pamat replied to No F-Bdy Bs's topic in Benelli
Not sure how easy it would be, but gas pistons would be nice. May not be as difficult as some of the other parts. Plus, it may actually count as two parts for 922® -
I am also very interested in one of your stocks.

Post your arsenal! (pics of course if not then just say what you have)

Teufel, Where/how do you plan on mounting the surefire rail switch?
-
How old is your M4? I bought mine last year and the surefire fit perfect.
-
Put me down for one also. Thanks.
-
Sounds good. Keep us posted.
-
I would buy a set.
-
For whatever reason, as far as I know, surefire never actually produced the M80.
-
Shane, Thanks very much for the information. I believe I am going to go the SBS/LLC route. The only thing I think I missed is if I go the LLC route, will I still need to supply the fingerprints? If so, does the CLEO do it? Thanks again for the excellent write-up.
-
Shane, Can you provide more details regarding registering the M4 as a SBS? Are there any negatives to it? Did you provide fingerprints with the application? If so, where did you get them done? You mentioned creating a LLC in another post to get around the LCEO, if necessary. What is a LLC and how does it take the place of the signature of an LCEO? Thanks.

Now that is some good news. US made foreend US made mag tube US made follower We're getting close.

topcover, What brand sabot slugs were you shooting? Help me out. I am new to this but: I thought sabot slugs were for rifled barrels? Do you think rifled slugs would perform as well?
-
Is California law different than other states when it comes to the collapsible stock on the M4? I was under the impression that the collapsible stock made it "non-sporting" which meant it fails 922®. Is this true? Is an M4 legal without the mag extension but with the collapsible stock?

M1014, Is there a reason you chose that particular light mount? Would you recommend one like that instead of a sidearmor type? Do you see anything wrong with the ring mount I posted a link to above? I am not at all familiar with the switches available. Do you have an on/off plus momentary pad? How does the on/off work? separate switch? Thanks.
-
I have recently purchased a new M4. My first mod will be the addition of a light. I am undecided about how to mount it. Has anyone used the Surefire M80 yet? Is it available? If the SF M80 is available, are there any problems with it? what about a vertical grip to go along with it? Is this something I should consider? Any opinions on the usefulness of a vertical grip on this weapon would be greatly appreciated. What about this mount? http://www.dsarms.com/item-detail.cfm?ID=BT21454&storeid=1&image=btremmnt.gif Does it interfere with disassembly? Any recommendations/personal preferences on switches, lights and mounts? Thanks in advance.
