belchew
I just Received a SBE II for my birthday. I was wondering about cleaning. My dad and brother use the Hoppe's boresnake but I am concerned about the wires on the barrel. What do you use to clean your benelli? Thank you, Wesley
KB Fab
Since the barrel is chrome lined, you won't see much residue buildup in there. I use a nylon bore brush when I need to and then follow it up with one of these. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=527709 http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=385914
BM4robbins
One of my troops gave me a 12GA boresnake, and I swear by them now. Remember copper bore brushes and projectiles don't hurt centerfire chrome-lined bores, so it stands to reason the bore snake should have no adverse effect on your chrome lining. m4p226n
Boresnakes make life so much easier. What a terrific product. You're shooting brass-plated buckshot through your barrel...no worries with the brushes. Good luck.
