Tacstar Extention for M4 Problem

So, got a Tacstar extention, says it gives me two extra, but no matter what adjustments I make to it, I can only get six in the magazine.

 

Is this typical of the Tacstar extention with the M4?

They are garbage, they only add one extra round.
