Bluedog810 Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 When I removed the old hammer I noticed that "US" was stamped on the stock hammer just like the new hammer. Anyone else have a similarly marked stock hammer? Quote
heckler&kochp2000 Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 (edited) What model m4 is yours ? Did you buy used or new ? Can you post a picture of the box sticker ? Edited September 3, 2012 by heckler&kochp2000 Quote

Bluedog810 Posted September 3, 2012 Author Posted September 3, 2012 No other parts are stamped "US" that I noticed. The stamp looks very much like the Geissele hammer that I just purchased. The stock hammer looked browner to me, while the Geissele was black. Quote
Amsdorf Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 So, has anyone actually been investigated by the BATF for 922r compliance? I mean, what happens? Guys in black bust open your front door and point a gun at you and demand you show compliance? Quote

I'd be hard pressed to think Benelli is using Geissele hammers in their builds. Doesn't make a lot of sense. Quote

StrangerDanger Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 When you have Class III toys on hand, you make certain that everything else you have is also in compliance. Quote
Bluedog810 Posted September 3, 2012 Author Posted September 3, 2012 Bought it at a local gun store. Quote
