Guest Old Salt
I’m thinking of putting the Nordic +3 magazine extension on my M2 making it into 7+1. Will adding the extra weight to the barrel do anything to the shotguns cycling reliability? My M2 has been 100% reliable with low brass loads so I would not want to do anything to jeopardize that reliability.
KB Fab
It shouldn't make a bit of difference.

The only thing you can do to screw up M2 reliability with a Nordic tube would be... to cut the follower spring too short.

I have a +6 on my Stoeger, and several guys at my local range use M1's & M2's with +6 without any issues. There is even one guy with a +8. I even run a 6rnd side saddle on mine.
