MP44
The weaver base looks the lowest of the mounting options for the RX30 but is it low enough that you have a cheek weld when using the M4 with factory pistol grip stock? TIA!
XTrooper
I'm sure it will be fine. The beauty of red dot and holographic sights is that a perfect cheek weld really isn't necessary for accurate shooting.
MP44
I was more worried about speed in sighting. Thanks for the input though.
XTrooper
I once shot a student's shotgun whose red dot sight was mounted so high on his rail that my chin was barely contacting the buttstock and it didn't hinder my speed or accuracy. With the mount you are contemplating, I'm sure you won't have an issue with either. Even if it's not ideal for you, it should only take you a few minutes to adapt.
