Looking to find a good turkey choke tube pattern using 3 1/2 " Federal #5 shot or #6 shot. My question is what Parrellel Diameter (constriction) is working out there? It looks like the .660 Parrell Diameter is popular, anyone have good results with the .675?

I shot my 26" SBEII today with hevi-shot 4's and Federal 5's. Both grouped best at 30 yards with the factory improved cylinder tube; over Patternmaster, & factory modified.

You need to try different chokes and different loads in YOUR gun to determine best results. Guns and chokes vary, even if they are the same make and model.

This was just discussed the other day.

gwnga,

The crio tubes are sized per industry standards.

The five tube crio set includes the following sizes.

Cylinder (.729), improved cylinder (.719), modified (.709), improved modified (.704) and full (.694).

In the SBE - that 26" barrel should like any good tube in .660 w/#6's. Even .655 should be good with #6's.

Don't like the patterns with .665 and up.

As to the the SBE II - I'll post some photos after this weekend...
