M4-Desert Camo Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Another generic question here for the experts: If you obtain a gun through a FFL transfer, what is the date of your actual ownership? I bought a Bushmaster M4 A3 last night, paid for it last night and it will be shipped out to my FFL dealer today with a pick-up probably on Saturday. Am I considered the owner last night or Saturday? Reason I'm asking is MD is about to join NY and the other crappy states probably on Thursday. I would love to have ownership documented before the Bill is passed. Quote
