s10gto
Curious when others clean barrels. Do you clean every time after a shoot or every so many boxes ect. ? Thanks
tucker301
I clean after every hunt when shooting waterfowl or doves. End of the season for turkey, unless things get wet.
RoadDad
I clean any firearm after each use but I rarely wash my car.

duckwacker
I clean them every time I shoot them. Once at the range I had a shotgun malfunction. The action bar on my Model 58 Sportsman broke. While disassembling at the range to see what was wrong, I found that it had broken because of excessive gunk buildup. Of course this happened in front of several interested friends. One of them laughs and comments: "Kind of like getting caught in the hospital with dirty underwear". I never let that happen again.
