Hi Guys, I bought a new Benelli M2 tactical and it came with 3 chokes including improved cylinder bore, I want a cylinder bore only choke but lost my documentation, do I look for crio chokes or crio plus chokes? Also does anyone know where I can order a cylinder bore choke for the m2 tactical. Appreciate any advice.

Check your current chokes against these examples: http://www.briley.com/benelli.aspx

Yours are probably Crio Sport. Benelli USA website should also provide that info. You can buy OEM directly from Benelli or go to Brownells. Aftermarket I use Briley and Trulock but there are a bunch of others out there.

Truckcop thanks for the reply, for the Life of me I can't understand why Benelli would not include a cylinder bore choke on a tactical shotgun, the smallest of the three included was improved cylinder.

I'd call Benelli customer service. The last new gun I got from them had 5, including cylinder. Maybe a couple got "borrowed" at the dealer. Benelli may send you what you didn't get unless you bought it used from someone.

Yes - the M2 field models come with 5 tubes but tactical only 3.

One would think that Cyl would be the logical choice in a tac model however rifled slugs can go thru Mod chokes and the newer flight control Federal 00 buck loads are said to shoot amazingly well with M and IM chokes.

Pattern your ammo with IC before you drop $$ on a cyl tube that you may not need
