New M4 owner

Hi all , I bought my M4 today and found out that it got fixed modified choke (3 stars on barrel) I need it for slugs only , i contacted benelli they said if I shoot slugs I ll ruin the barrel I was so upset but I read here that slugs can be shot with the fixed modified choke so what u advise me guys ?

I too have 3 stars on my M1014 barrel,the choke is called modified,,you can shoot whatever you want out of it,no harm will come too your barrel,mine is a fixed modified too,happy shootin bro

But why at benelli they told me I ll ruin the barrel if I shoot slugs ?

Their official stance is that you should not shoot a slug from a choke that is tighter than improved cylinder. I shoot slugs through an extended light modified choke all the time with no issues.

Thanks for your feed back anyway tomorrow am going wild boars hunting I ll try the m4 for the first time and I ll shoot slugs as u advised
