Anjin-san Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 My favorite indoor range allows shotguns but only with full chokes. Any recommendations on chokes for the M4? The choke will probably just be used at the range out to 25 or 30 yards. I love the tactical looking breacher chokes but nobody makes those in anything but cylinder bore. Quote
bambihunter Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 If it is just for some range time with your M4, I'd just get some cheap factory type choke. If you are thinking of hunting with it, then consider a Tru-Lock or extended Carlson's. Maybe even a Black cloud. Quote
Anjin-san Posted September 29, 2020 Author Posted September 29, 2020 Thanks, I'm not a hunter so chokes are new to me. I think I should get extended choke just so I don't forget its on there. I also think .700 is a small as you can get and still run steel shot and slugs, at least that's the impression I'm getting looking at a lot of different chokes. Wondering if there are any chokes to stay away from. Quote
BigJoe365 Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 Found this on Benelli website under FAQ, good info on chocks here. https://www.benelliusa.com/support/faq#:~:text=A cylinder choke is recommended, tighter than those listed here. Quote
