FIB
Hello all. I have read with interest the thread about the safety on the SBE 2 being stiff . I too completely agree!!! Another bad thing about the stiff safety is trying to QUIETLY switch it. Bird hunting wouldn't be a problem but I could see if I were tree stand deer hunting where that LOUD snap could/would startle a deer. Any agreements/disagreements?? Camo
That's true FIB....turkey hunting this year I made sure to used my thumb and index finger when taking my safety off to help deaden the sound.
upland04
Hey Guys, my new SBEll is quiet and smooth with a very possitive engagement. I already explained in another topic how I fixed it. I just fixed my son's too. Same results however, I am waiting to hear what Benelli has to say. If they never resolve the issue..........I'm happy...........Upland04
M1014
So why don't you tell us,on this topic how you did it? ------------M1014
upland04
Click on "very stiff SBEll safety" and read reply two and four. It took about 10 minutes. Polishing the detent cup won"t help. It is strictly a matter of too much spring pressure................other option is to wait for Montefeltro's solution coming from Italy.........Upland04
